There are far more people using their mobile devices than ever before. It stands to reason that an EHR should be able to connect with a patient from a mobile app designed for the EHR.

The patient portals were the start of connecting the patient to the provider and their data in a meaningful way. The next evolution is to move from the PC to a mobile app.
